Dry Maintenance
Dryers over time tend to build up quite a bit of lint in the bottom of the unit, this can lead to fires in gas dryers, and damage the motor over time.
What you don't see.
Over time vent hoses tend to build up lint on the ribs of the hose due to condensation, this can lead to poor ventilation and cause extreme heat build up in your dryer which can lead to damaging the unit.
Outside vent
Common signs that your dryer vent is clogged and in need of some attention. One sign that your dryer vent is clogged is excessive drying times, another is humidity inside the dryer tub when checking to see if your clothes are dry or extremely hot clothing.
Gas Dryers
Gas dryers tend to be more of a hazard if not cleaned out routinely. The build up of lint over time can cause fires inside the unit, when not properly ventilated can cause carbon monoxide build up in the room.
Refrigerators & Freezers
Build up of animal hair and dust over time tend to cause condensing coils to become dirty, this can make a huge difference in temperature in the unit anywhere from 3-5 degree difference. Which doesn't seem like much but can make a world of difference to the life span of a unit.
